17 inch polyurethane railroad wheel
The 17 inch wheel from Railriders.net™ is engineered specifically for the purpose of traveling unused, abandoned and neglected rails*. With a low rolling resistance polyurethane running surface you will be amazed at how quiet and smooth these wheels are. Designed with large flanges to carry you safely through crossings, diamonds and switches along with a wide running surface of 3.5 inches (90mm) which comes in handy while traversing track of poor gauge† tolerance or various sizes and types of rail.
These wheels are available in several different colors and are sold individually.

* 3/4 inch (19mm) hub with keyway
* 200*F to -40*F thermal range
* Non-Conductive and will not set off crossing signals
* 300 pound (136KG) service weight on each wheels riding surface

Blue Wheels
The color will fade to a darker blue with exposure to UV rays over time. This is perfectly normal and will in no way affect the performance or safety of these wheels.
Black Wheels
Feature the highest UV resistance of any color we offer. We’ve also found black to be the best at hiding the residue and gunk that wheels will pick up while in use.
